Meet AMS Instrumentation & Calibration Pty Ltd

Operating across Australia and Papua New Guinea, AMS Instrumentation & Calibration Pty Ltd has been a trusted technical partner to industry since 1973. With more than five decades of expertise, the AMS team supports customers in Oil & Gas, Mining, Food & Beverage, and the Power & Water sectors, helping them select instrumentation and calibration solutions that keep their operations safe, efficient, and productive.

With around 30 employees and a reputation built on long-standing relationships, AMS has become known for its engineering depth, reliability, and commitment to delivering the right solution first time.

Our Partnership with AMS

AMS has represented Process Vision for the past five years. The collaboration began when Process Vision approached AMS to explore new opportunities in the region, and it quickly became clear that both organisations shared a strong alignment: a desire to help customers improve operational performance with evidence-based, modern technology.

For AMS, introducing LineVu and our wider digital monitoring tools offered a compelling advantage; supporting customers to uncover hidden issues, improve gas quality, and realise significant cost savings.

“Process Vision gives our customers the opportunity to achieve great savings, supported by responsive technical backup. The value is clear, and it’s something our clients genuinely appreciate.”  Dave Grey, Product Manager – Analytical

AMS most frequently recommends LineVu, recognising it as a practical and powerful way for operators to see what is really happening inside their pipeline, without interrupting flow or adding operational burden.

Regional Insights

Local Challenges

Across Australia and Papua New Guinea, one of the biggest hurdles is awareness. Many operators are still becoming familiar with the principle of direct visual gas monitoring and the magnitude of savings it can unlock.

While industries are keen to reduce risk and improve reliability, the first challenge is helping teams understand what’s possible when they have real visibility of liquid contamination and wet-gas behaviour.

How Process Vision Supports the Region

AMS highlights the strength of Process Vision’s support network. Responsive expertise from the Process Vision team, combined with AMS’ local presence, ensures customers have confidence when trialling or deploying new technology. This partnership provides operators with the assurance that they are backed by both global innovation and regional experience.

Successes and Market Engagement

AMS has delivered numerous presentations and technical discussions to organisations across the region. While early market education takes time, AMS is continuing to expand awareness and drive conversations that will lead to future deployments and success cases.

Our Shared Approach to Customer Success

AMS’ mission is clear:

To be the trusted partner by providing unique expertise in engineering and product selection for instrumentation and calibration solutions.

This aligns naturally with the Process Vision philosophy of clarity, transparency, and operational improvement. AMS’ long-serving team members are highly respected in their industries, known for nurturing customer relationships over many years and delivering dependable service.

Together, AMS and Process Vision bring a combined strength: deep instrumentation knowledge paired with cutting-edge pipeline visibility technology.
