Exhibiting Process Vision globally
Process Vision Ltd recently hosted a webinar for The Pipeline Industries Guild on the importance of gas analysis systems being presented with a representative gas sample from the gas pipelines. While two-phase flow in sales quality gas is considered a fault condition, new technology is revealing that, in many cases, mixed-phase flow is present in the form of a mist flow or stratified flow while the hydrocarbon and water dewpoint would indicate that the gas is dry. We will share videos of real-world installations showing that many gas processors are giving away Btus in the form of NGLs without knowing it.
Pipeline Insider is a series dedicated to uncovering the real challenges, insights, and stories shaping today’s gas processing industry, directly from the people who’ve lived them. Our debut episode of Pipeline Insider introduces you to a perspective shaped by years of measurement at the microscopic level. We talk with Paul Stockwell, whose background in moisture dewpoint analysis led him to discover a recurring truth: in gas processing, the biggest problems are often the ones you can’t see. Paul shares how understanding what you can’t see inside the gas stream became the foundation of his work, and how moisture and hydrocarbon dewpoint problems continue to shape operational decisions today.
